Withdrawal Process Himmat Card

The Himmat Card Program, initiated by the Punjab government, aims to provide financial assistance to Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). The program has expanded in its second phase to include a total of 65,000 beneficiaries. Below is an overview of the program and important dates:

  • Objective: To support PWDs in Punjab with financial aid.
  • Total Beneficiaries: 65,000 individuals.
  • Financial Assistance: Each beneficiary receives Rs. 10,500 quarterly through an ATM card issued by the Bank of Punjab.

Withdrawal Process Using the Himmat Card at a Bank of Punjab (BOP) ATM:

  • Visit the Nearest BOP ATM:
  • Locate a functioning BOP ATM in your vicinity.
  • Insert Your Himmat Card:
  • Place the card into the ATM machine and wait for it to read.
  • Enter Your PIN Code:
  • Input your four-digit PIN carefully when prompted.
  • Select the “Withdrawal” Option:
  • Choose “Cash Withdrawal” from the menu and select the account type linked to your Himmat Card.
  • Enter the Withdrawal Amount:
  • For the initial withdrawal, enter Rs. 10,500.
  • Confirm and Collect:
  • Confirm the transaction, retrieve your cash, and collect the receipt for your records.

Checking Himmat Card Balance at a BOP ATM:

  1. Insert your Himmat Card into the ATM.
  2. Enter your PIN code.
  3. Select “Balance Inquiry” from the menu.
  4. View your current account balance displayed on the screen.
  5. Print a receipt if needed for reference.

Registration for Unregistered Persons with Disabilities (PWDs):

If you haven’t registered for the Himmat Card Program, follow these steps:

  • Visit Your Nearest District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital:
  • Locate the PWD Desk within the hospital.
  • Complete the Registration Process:
  • Provide necessary documents and information for verification.
  • Receive Your Himmat Card:
  • Upon approval, you’ll receive your Himmat Card, enabling you to withdraw funds as scheduled.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be a resident of Punjab.
  • Should have a verified disability certified by Social Welfare Punjab.
  • Not employed in government or private sectors.
  • Should not have recently received grants from Bait-ul-Maal, Zakat Fund, PSPA, BISP, etc.
  • PMT score issued by BISP should not exceed 45.
  • Basic data should be updated in the DPMIS (CNIC, Address, Mobile no, education & experience, etc).
